Type A (Plug-and-Play): Works directly with existing electronic fluorescent ballasts. While installation is fast, efficiency is limited by ballast power loss, and ballasts will eventually need to be replaced when they fail.
Type B (Ballast Bypass): Bypasses the ballast completely to run on direct line voltage (usually 120-277V or 347V). This setup eliminates ballast failure points and power losses. We supply both single-ended and double-ended bypass wiring options to match local electrical code requirements.
Type C (External Driver): Uses a dedicated external LED driver, similar to panel lights. This setup offers the best system efficiency, lowest operating temperatures inside the tube, and smooth 0-10V or DALI dimming options.
